Cameron James aka CAM CAM emerged on the scene in 2007. He took 2nd place in a Northern California Hip Hop Contest Powered by The SOURCE Magazine. After an increase in popularity, CAM CAM submitted his sophomore single Lunch Money, that was introduced on 97.7 KWIN and 98.3 “Unsigned at 9”, at the age of 12 years old.

CAM CAM has earned the respect of many in the industry with nicknames given to him like "The Playground King”, “The Future of Hip Hop” and "The Kid That Does It Big". After opening up for artists like Tyga, Lupe Fiasco, Lloyd, Bow Wow, Clyde Carson, D-Lo, Berner, AP-9, San Quinn, Baby Bash, and Travis porter, Meagan Good, Audio Push, Cali Swag District and The Rejektz CAM CAM realized he was exceeding his goals and beyond. CAM CAM continues to write rhymes and songs that will touch his generation in the most inspiring way and dreams to one day start a foundation for kids that are also aspiring to become musical artists, in hopes that the knowledge and direction he has been given educates the minds of others and put them on the road to a successful career.
