Big Tigger is a distinctive voice of hip hop that brings urban culture to mainstream audiences through TV, radio, events, corporate partnerships and community outreach. He realized his passion for the hip-hop culture at an early age by rapping and DJing at parties at his high school. With this passion he was able to secure an internship at WPGC Radio Station 95.5 FM in Washington DC becoming an on-air personality in 1994. Big Tigger also ventured into TV and became a part time personality on BET’s "Rap City: The Bassment” and eventually secured the role as host of “Rap City”.
In 1999 Big Tigger established the non-profit organization "The Street Corner Foundation" to help create awareness of HIV/AIDS specifically to African Americans in Washington, D.C and surrounding areas. Through the foundation he was able to produce the sought after ‘Big Tigger's Annual Celebrity Classic Weekend’ that has been supported by some of the biggest names in music and sports such as Terrell Owens, Gabrielle Union, Larry Johnson and Shaquille O'Neal.
Big Tigger can currently be heard on his weekly syndicated radio show "Live in The Den", which is featured in 70 U.S. markets and 2 countries. He is now also the official host and DJ for the NBA's Washington Wizards.
