Comments about Monster ROC Sport Freedom On-Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones Black:

I had the Monster Inspiration, before getting these headphones... I really loved the clarity and based (when the active noise-isolation was activated).
... When I got these ROC Sport headphones, I was appalled at how the bass-boost was ruined metal and rock musics I like (Amon Amarth, Caldan Brood, TYR (they don't have bass guitar, so technically, bass should be limited to the drums, IMO), Witchcraft, and others) by making lower-frequency sounds into bass-y sounds and overshadowing the more subtle sounds and sound that were blending more with the music (certain vocals, certain instruments)... It was making the music less enjoyable.

... But then I though "Hey, when I put music on a car stereo, CD-rom sounds a billion times better than plugged-in mobile (even if the mobile has music ripped in loss-less quality)... the audio cable is definitely lowering bottlenecking.... maybe if I tried comparing the music of my headphones with cable and with Bluetooth..."

And yes, while there is some white noise when there is no sound and really low audio, the music doesn't sound like "dung". The audio is clearer, when using Bluetooth, because there is no data bottleneck of a simple audio cable (maybe)... but for it to be really noticeable, you must not have an mp3 file.

(Also, plugging the headphones to my TV with an extension is not recommended.... I get less sound diversity.)

In all, are these headphones any good?
They can be... If you only use the Bluetooth with uncompressed audio files and musics with sounds mixed together, to avoid the corded bass-and-bottleneck degradation.

(Also, the noise isolation isn't especially isolating.... but the ear pads are good.)

Comments about Monster ROC Sport Freedom On-Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones Black:

Very comfortable for a headphone, very light but the bass was powerful. Good for fast and heavy songs, when comes to classic, it's little weak... but overall I love it and I bring it to work, and use it at home when relaxing.
